Ariel Gandolfo - Aka Nicholas Van Orton - aka Zero Reality While growing up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ariel first got involved with music at the age of 16, singing in hardcore metal bands. At the age of 19, he started attending rave parties and clubs and got pretty interested in dance music so he bought his first hardware and started producing dance tracks under the "Zero Reality" nick, getting great support among local djs. Ten years after , having played live for more than 20.000 people in his country and recorded three studio albums with his band "Il Phantasmo" (smokinghome records, 1999, 2001 and 2003), he co-produced kozmic3´s second album "hallucigenia" (ksk records 2005), and then decided to work as a solo artist and started producing under the alias Nicholas Van Orton. His tracks had a great welcome at the house scene, and are supported by many international and local djs such as hernan cattaneo, anthony pappa, andy moor, moshic, pole folder, dnox, martin garcia, dj tarkan, dpen, yvel & tristan, greg benz, deep mariano, guille quero, gerardo boscarino, and bs as deep, to name a few. Ariel now spends his time releasing his music at important dance labels, djing and vjing, as well as running "SmokingHome", his graphic design lab, where he works as a free-lance 3d animator and sound designer for movies and TV. Some of his clients are FOX, MTV, AXN, Converse, etc, and some samples of his work are shown at his site www.smokinghome.com.ar Ariel also hosts three radio shows, one at the famous KSK radio in buenos aires with his friend Rhino, called NU GEN , where mixes of their own, as well as by guest djs are broadcasted every sunday on prime time by air and through internet, "Little Robots" , hosted by Facundo Mohrr and nicholas, every first wednesday of the month at the popular Frisky Radio and DIGITAL BLACKOUT, again on kskradio, every saturday prime time, with gerardo boscarino and bs as deep.
